About The Thrill
The Thrill er et storswingende bluesband fra Fyn med en lang række gode koncerter bag sig - fra Mojo i København, Dexter i Odense, Tøjhuset i Fredericia og Roskilde Beat til mindre festivaler og en masse brune værtshuse.
Bandet består af rutinerede musikere med årtier i bluesmusikkens rampelys: Bjørn Langkilde (vokal), Palle Hansen (trommer), John Vogt (bas) og Ture Reimer-Mattesen (guitar).
Repertoiret blander klassikere af bl.a. BB King, Muddy Waters og Albert Collins med nyere funky bluesnumre og egne kompositioner - altid med et strejf af rygende varm Texas Blues. Debutalbummet "Past and Present" er ude nu.
The Thrill spiller på spillesteder og til private arrangementer. Én ting er sikker: det bliver svært at sidde stille, og danseskoene bliver luftet.
