Terms of use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms govern the relationship between Jocky AB ("Jocky", "we", "us") and you as a user of jockybooking.com and our services. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
1. About the service
Jocky is a marketplace and booking system for live entertainment. We connect venues (hotels, restaurants, bars and other organisers) with artists, and provide tools for requests, scheduling, contracts, messaging and invoicing. Jocky acts as an intermediary - any agreement for a gig is entered into directly between the venue and the artist.
2. Accounts
To use certain parts of the service, you need to create an account. You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and for keeping your login details secure. You must not use the service for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms the service or other users.
3. Prices and payment
For venues, Jocky costs SEK 899 per month per venue. Groups and chains can get tailored pricing. For artists, creating an account and profile is free of charge. Current prices are shown on our pricing page. Prices are stated excluding VAT unless otherwise indicated. The subscription runs on a monthly basis with no minimum term and can be cancelled at any time.
4. Bookings and payment to artists
The artist's fee is set by the artist and is shown in the request and the reply. Jocky does not add a booking fee on top. Once a booking is confirmed, invoicing and payment are handled through Jocky. Terms for cancellation and rebooking are set out at the time of booking.
5. Users' responsibilities
Artists are responsible for delivering what has been agreed. Venues are responsible for providing the necessary facilities on site and for paying the agreed fee. Each party is responsible for its own obligations under the booking.
6. Limitation of liability
Jocky provides the intermediary service and booking system and is not liable for the performance of individual gigs or for any loss or damage arising in the relationship between venue and artist. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
All content in the service, including the Jocky brand, belongs to Jocky AB or our licensors. Content you upload remains yours, but you grant us the right to use it to the extent needed to provide the service.
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close the account of any user who breaches these terms. Your data is then processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
9. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the service or by email. The latest version is always available on this page.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. The parties shall first try to resolve any dispute by mutual agreement. If you use the service in the course of business, any dispute that cannot be resolved shall be settled by the Swedish general courts (allmän domstol), with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
If you are a consumer, you can take a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), www.arn.se, or to the courts. The choice of Swedish law does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts there.
