What is Gig Log?
Gig Log lets you log gigs you've booked outside Jocky – by phone, email or Facebook. At 08:00 the morning after the gig, Jocky creates and sends the invoice for you and keeps an eye on it until it's paid.
What is a self-billing invoice?
A self-billing invoice is an invoice created in your company's name by someone else – in this case, Jocky. If you're a sole trader (enskild firma) or have a limited company (AB) registered for F-tax (F-skatt), we create the self-billing invoice for you, send it to the venue, and the money is paid into your business account. You never have to touch invoicing software.
Do I need a company?
No. Without a company, your fee is paid through payroll, with tax and employer contributions handled for you. If you're a sole trader (enskild firma) or have a limited company (AB), Jocky creates a self-billing invoice from your company instead.
What does Gig Log cost?
A 2% fee when we create a self-billing invoice from your company, and 3–5% when you're paid through payroll without a company. No fixed fees – you always see the amount before you log the gig.
When is the invoice sent?
At 08:00 the morning after the gig. You log the gig once you've finished playing, and Jocky takes care of the rest.
What if the venue doesn't pay?
Jocky keeps an eye on the payment and handles the reminders for you. You get a notification when the money is on its way.
