I''m a musician and DJ. I've studied percussion in New York and in Cuba. I've also done several trips to Brazil for studies. As a musician I work in several genres but mostly jazz, electronic and Brazilian music. I compose for two groups, the electronic/jazz quintet Soundscape Orchestra and the more experimental electronic duo Erratic. Both act are on Berlin-based labels. As a session musician I play in many different projects, I do small jazz/latin trio gigs at hotels, events etc but I also do larger shows with high profile artists such as Swedish vocalist Lill Lindfors. A side from live music I've been working a lot as a DJ, specialised in live remixing, looping. Often with percussion and guest musicians. But I've also done a lot of regular DJ gigs. For many years I was the main DJ/musicians at Scandic hotels, doing a lot of DJing, live at grand openings, special parties etc. I'm DJing several genres (soul, funk, latin, afro, jazz, nujazz, deep house, minimal, IDM...) but if you need radio hits and pop you should look somewhere else.
